Spectrum Group Consulting Services is an independent consulting firm led by experts in international benefits and global mobility. Founded in 2012 by industry veteran Lisa Fink Burkard (CEBS, GMS-T, GRP, CCP), Spectrum's team has decades of extensive experience in corporate global Human Resources.

WHO WE ARE

Lisa Fink Burkard
Managing Director

Spectrum Group Consulting Services, LLC was founded by Lisa Fink Burkard. With nearly 30 years of industry experience encompassing insurance underwriting, U.S. benefits consulting and extensive international corporate experience, she brings a unique blend of skills and expertise.

As the former Director of International Compensation, Benefits and Global Mobility for UPS, she understands the intricacies of working for a large corporation and the associated demands and expectations. She has also lived abroad in Brussels, Belgium where she was responsible for ensuring the competitiveness and compliance of all compensation, benefit and mobility programs across 35 countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Lisa has served on numerous boards, including Worldwide ERC Board of Directors (2003-2005), Chair of the Worldwide ERC EMEA Committee (2006-2007), past President of CEBS-Atlanta chapter. Professional credentials include: CEBS, GMS-T, CCP, GRP, FLMI. She is a frequent speaker at Worldwide ERC, MARC, NFTC and IFCEBS. She has also served on the faculty of Worldwide ERC, designing and teaching GMS modules. 

Lisa received her BBA in Risk Management & Insurance from University of Georgia's Terry School of Business and her MBA in Risk Management & Insurance from Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business. Lisa is currently a part-time instructor and faculty member at GSU in the Risk Management & Insurance Department. 

Susan MacInnes
Managing Consultant

Susan MacInnes has over 30 years of experience in both benefits compliance consulting as well as corporate benefits management.

Susan has experience in corporate benefits roles at both SP Newsprint Co. and RockTenn, where she directed major benefit plan consolidation and administrative transition projects necessitated by corporate acquisitions. She was responsible for resolving various compliance issues involving benefit plans in Puerto Rico and Canada. Previously Susan was the lead consultant in Compliance and Administration practice of Towers Perrin.  

Her experience includes working with a wide variety of compliance issues involving health & welfare, 401(k) and defined benefit plans.  She has assisted multiple clients in strategic benefit planning, acquisition and merger activities, and benefit plan administration review and planning. 

Susan received her MBA in finance from Georgia State University. She earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and is a past President of the Georgia Chapter of ISCEBS.

Michael Ferzely
Consultant

Michael Ferzely has extensive knowledge as an HR Compensation Director with over 30 years experience in all aspects of Total Rewards Management and related management areas. He consistently achieved success through effective collaborations developed between HR and business units/functions. Michael demonstrates an understanding of business needs, talent challenges and project initiatives/outcomes as they relate to compensation design and administration.  

Michael has extensive experience in corporate compensation roles at UPS where he directed major compensation plan design, consolidation and administrative transition projects. 

Michael’s experience includes Executive and Board of Director compensation, conducting periodic market analysis and providing recommendations to the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.He also has experience dealing with mergers and acquisitions leading the HR integration of the acquisition of Mail Boxes Etc.

He has provided complete compensation support in multiple acquisitions evaluating compensation administration, base pay, incentives, work rules, vacation, benefits and providing final recommendations on integration into the UPS system.

Michael received his BA in psychology from Creighton University. He earned the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation from the WorldatWork organization and is a current member and past President of the Georgia Chapter of the Atlanta Area Compensation Association.

Jutta Fuentes
Global Mobility Consultant

Jutta Fuentes has over 20 years of experience in global mobility management with several major multinational organizations including Koch Industries. She has spent most of her career managing corporate global mobility programs representing all facets of international assignment management such as policy development, process implementation and improvement, visa and immigration compliance, expatriate compensation and payroll, tax compliance and vendor management.

Her experience also includes working for a leading relocation management company where she was responsible for the strategic and operational mobility management of ~30 corporate clients. Jutta also provided complete global mobility due diligence support for a major acquisition evaluating policies, compensation and compliance as well as leading on-boarding activities.

Jutta is originally from Germany where she studied languages (English, French) and worked as a foreign language commercial correspondent before relocating to the U.S. She holds a BBA in International Business with minors in Management and Economics.

Grace Ferzely
Digital Media Specialist

Grace Ferzely works for Spectrum Group Consulting as a digital media specialist, designing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy from the ground up. She is in charge of organic and sponsored content creation, data monitoring/analytics, and social media management. While completing her undergrad degree, she volunteered as a social media specialist for a documentary and education project. Grace worked as a video production and social media intern in London for Silverfish Media in summer 2015. She also volunteered around Athens, GA as a social media assistant/on-set production assistant and camera person. 

Grace previously interned in the creative department at Red Dress, one of the fastest growing online junior’s retailers in the country. Grace assisted with online e-commerce production, on-set production/styling, and digital/social media production. She also managed a network of over 50 style bloggers who partnered with Red Dress as the influencer marketing coordinator.

Grace Ferzely graduated from the University of Georgia Grady College of Journalism with a bachelor’s degree in Entertainment & Media Studies with a New Media Certificate. She is furthering her education at UGA’s Grady College in the Emerging Media Graduate Studies program.

Worldwide ERC Foundation

Established in 2004, the goal of the WERC Foundation is to 'energize the global community through charitable giving'. One of their selected charity partners is Family Promise, who are working to change the lives of families experiencing homelessness.

Spectrum Group was a proud sponsor of the 2021 Foundation Walk.

The Drake House

Spectrum Group Consulting Services is a proud sponsor of The Drake House in Roswell, Georgia. The Drake House provides short-term crisis housing, education and empowerment programs for homeless mothers and their children. The programs are designed to assist the family in working toward self-sufficiency. They are the only emergency residential housing facility in north metro Atlanta offering a private apartment to each family. The Drake House ensures families stay together and children remain in their schools with the help of the Fulton County Independent School District.

AACA & United Way Snack Pack Event

In 2018, Spectrum hosted the United Way Snack Pack Event to benefit Pebble Tossers Inc.

In conjunction with AACA, we invited other compensation and benefits professionals to decorate and fill brown bags with healthy snacks for children in need.
